AI Generated Podcast

In Assignment 3, we are tasked with creating a podcast based on our article for publication. For this project, I have chosen to use Google LM to generate a podcast about e-Portfolios. The exciting part of this assignment is the opportunity to incorporate the COVA model—Choice, Ownership, Voice, and Authentic Learning—which allows us to effectively communicate our message to listeners in a personal and meaningful way.

What's the Connection to My Innovation Plan?

In this podcast episode, I’m excited to introduce my listeners to the concept of e-Portfolios. e-Portfolios represent a modern approach to integrating technology into the classroom and reflect a new way of learning for students. They not only bring digital tools into education but also support the shift toward more meaningful, student-centered learning in the 21st-century classroom.

This podcast aligns with the goals outlined in my innovation plan, particularly the emphasis on empowering students to create ePortfolios as a means of showcasing their learning and expressing their personal academic journeys. The speakers further explore strategies for effectively integrating ePortfolios into classroom practice, highlighting their potential to enhance student engagement and reflection.

Through e-Portfolios, students can showcase their thinking and learning by applying Dr. Harapnuik’s COVA model—Choice, Ownership, Voice, and Authentic Learning. This approach empowers students to take ownership of their work, express their individual voices, and demonstrate what they’ve learned in creative and personal ways.
